Comment-1: Conclusion replace with: "Controlled trials of using AWWs to improve oral hygiene appear to be justified". Response-1: Done in Abstract section Main paper Comment-2: Page 9, line 173. Replace 1st sentence of para with "Key findings of this study were short-term reductions in debris, stage-1 plaque and caries activity" Response-2: Done as suggested. Now on page 9, line 173 Comment-3: Page 10, line 194. Add to end of paragraph. "Overall, the apparent effectiveness of health education to improve oral health appears limited in better designed studies". Response-3: Done on Page 10, line 197 Comment-4: Page 10, line 202: Delete first sentence of paragraph. Move rest of paragraph to follow on from paragraph on page 9, line 182. Response-4: Done. Now this is on Page 9 , line 181-185.The numbering of references are also changed accordingly. Comment-5: Page 11, line 217. Replace "provides a cost-effective" with "may provide an effective" Response-5: Done as suggested on Page 11, line 216.
